About the role

The primary responsibilities involve performing all diagnostic vascular examinations, including specialized studies like PVR/ABI and TCD bubble studies. This also requires providing complete and diagnostic preliminary reporting for physician review and interpretation.

Capital Cardiology Associates, the trusted authority in cardiovascular health in the Capital Region, is actively seeking for a experienced per diem Vascular Sonographer, to join our dynamic team in the Albany, Clifton Park or Troy office. Responsibilities

include but are not limited to:

Performing all diagnostic vascular examinations which also include PVR/ABI exams, TCD bubble studies and venous reflux studies.

Knowledge of peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology and the ability to differentiate artifact from appropriate images.

Provide complete and diagnostic preliminary reporting for physician review and interpretation.

Professional and courteous communication with patients, explaining the exam and answering patient questions to the best of their ability.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain positive interactions with patients and other team members.

Monitoring and maintaining ultrasound equipment, reporting any deficiencies.

Proper cleaning of ultrasound equipment and exam rooms between patients.

BLS certified

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $42.00- $50.00 based on experience and qualifications.
