Registered Vascular Sonographer

Capital Cardiology Associates, the trusted authority in cardiovascular health in the Capital Region, is actively seeking for a experienced per diem Vascular Sonographer, to join our dynamic team in the Albany, Clifton Park or Troy office. Responsibilities

• include but are not limited to:
• Performing all diagnostic vascular examinations which also include PVR/ABI exams, TCD bubble studies and venous reflux studies.
• Knowledge of peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology and the ability to differentiate artifact from appropriate images.
• Provide complete and diagnostic preliminary reporting for physician review and interpretation.
• Professional and courteous communication with patients, explaining the exam and answering patient questions to the best of their ability.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain positive interactions with patients and other team members.
• Monitoring and maintaining ultrasound equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
• Proper cleaning of ultrasound equipment and exam rooms between patients.
• BLS certified

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $42.00- $50.00 based on experience and qualifications.
