The Medical Assistant will provide both administrative and clinical support to the care team, focusing on efficient primary care delivery and fostering a compassionate, patient-focused experience. Key duties include performing clinical tasks like administering injections, collecting specimens, taking vital signs, and assisting with patient exams, alongside administrative tasks like chart preparation and managing patient communications.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program, with MA certification being preferred. Essential abilities include clear communication, maintaining confidentiality, reacting calmly in emergencies, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency in patient care procedures and equipment use.
