The Direct Support Professional will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving personal independence goals by providing coaching and support according to personalized care plans. Responsibilities also include engaging residents in daily activities, community outings, personal care assistance, and ensuring a safe, home-like environment.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license held for at least three years with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points), and must pass required Pennsylvania background clearances. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided.
