The role involves assisting with direct patient care by obtaining vital signs, assisting with feeding and hygiene, performing EKGs, and managing patient transfers. Additionally, the technician will schedule diagnostic procedures, respond to call lights promptly, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Candidates must possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, with previous hospital experience being preferred. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
