The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers prescribed physical therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability following injury or disease. This involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing measurable plans of care, providing skilled therapy, and coordinating care with the clinical team.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an APTA-accredited program or equivalent certification, along with licensure in the state of Ohio. Required qualifications also include two years of clinical experience with varied populations, CPR certification, and the ability to lift average-sized patients.
Under the direction of the Home Health Director, evaluates, plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients. Directs and aids patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re‑education and gait training to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body parts.
