Job description

High school graduate or equivalent. Must have current S.C. Nurse Aid\nCertification OR passed fundamentals in RN/LPN school OR completed Surg Tech OR\nEMT course OR completed 2 year Health Science Technology Program, or 6 months\nexperience as a PCT at SRH. BLS certified. \n\nUnder supervision of licensed personnel the Emergency Care Center Technician\nwill perform a variety of functions in support and care of\npatients requiring urgent or emergency care in the emergency medical setting.\nUnder the delegation of a Registered Nurse/Providers the ECC\nTechnician performs specific assigned duties in providing patient care in\naccordance with established SRH, ECC and Nursing Services\nPolicy/Procedure/Protocols and Standards of Care; assists in maintaining\nsupplies and repairs and safely operating work related equipment.\nCommunicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a\nresource person for other SRH team members to resolve work\nrelated/patient care issues. Performs any other job related duties as requested\nby Department Manager, ECC Supervisor, Charge/Lead Nurse or\nDepartmental Director
