The Resident Care Aide provides direct care and support to residents, focusing on promoting comfort, independence, and dignity through assistance with personal care, dining, and activities. Key duties include accurate documentation, communicating resident changes to nurses, and maintaining a positive, professional environment.
Candidates must possess a current Nursing Assistant certification or have completed a Certified Home Health Aide program, along with an understanding of the physical and emotional needs of seniors. Essential personal attributes include patience, compassion, respect, dependability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
