The Nurse Practitioner manages a distinct patient population primarily in the outpatient setting, performing comprehensive history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic data, and collaborating on the plan of care for acute and complex chronically ill patients. Responsibilities also include ensuring adherence to clinical pathways, performing prescribed in-office procedures, and documenting patient progress in compliance with standards.
Candidates must be Master’s Level prepared as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant area, holding a current, good-standing license (ARNP or CRNP), and be eligible for a DEA number and credentialing. A minimum of two years of prior experience is preferred, along with current BLS certification, and ACLS certification if required by the clinical setting.
