The main function involves providing and assisting with nursing care for patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This includes recording patient condition information and reporting any unusual findings to the responsible RN.
Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with a required BLS certification. A minimum of one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in another healthcare facility is mandatory.
Provide and/or assist in nursing care of patients under the supervision of an R.N. Record patient information regarding patient’s condition, and report unusual findings to responsible R.N. Administer IM and oral medications, pharmacy prepared I.V. meds.
