The Medical Assistant will be responsible for fulfilling patient care duties such as organizing patient flow, preparing rooms, documenting history, performing screenings, and assisting doctors with procedures. Additionally, the role involves administrative tasks like scheduling, managing records, handling prior authorizations, and maintaining clinical supply inventory.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, though graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant diploma program is preferred. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and required experience with electronic medical records, with experience in a surgical office being strongly preferred.
