The Travel Physical Therapist is responsible for planning, providing, and coordinating all aspects of direct patient care for assigned patients according to established policies, maintaining the highest quality of care while working cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team. Essential duties include performing patient evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, providing treatment based on physician orders, and communicating progress with patients, families, and referral sources.
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and hold a current Physical Therapist license, registration, or certification as required by state regulations. The role involves significant physical demands, including frequent standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds occasionally.

This is an exciting new opportunity for an internal Alliance PTP Traveler who will be a treating clinician at one of our 125+ clinic sites depending on where coverage is needed. In this role, you will complete 6-month travel assignments at any one of our clinic locations in the following states: CA, MI, ME, MO, KS, NM, NC, SC, TN, LA, TX, PA, WA or AZ.
The Travel Physical Therapist is responsible for the planning, provision and coordination of all aspects of direct patient care for a designated group of patients/clients in accordance with established facility and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality care. The therapist works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
