The main function involves performing or assisting with routine and STAT blood draws and EKGs for patients. The technician will also assist in the overall care of patients while working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
A high school education is required for this role, along with demonstrated experience as a Patient Care Technician, CNA, and in performing EKGs. Previous hospital experience is preferred, and a Phlebotomy Certification is preferred.
Perform/assist in routine & STAT blood draws, EKGs, and assist in the care of patients under the supervision of an RN.
High school education.
Patient Care Technician, CNA and EKG required. Previous office experience; hospital experience preferred. Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
