The Registered Medication Associate assists in monitoring and safely delivering the Medication Management Program, accurately administering and recording medications according to physician orders and regulatory standards. This role also involves observing, recording, and reporting resident reactions to medications, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring safe medication storage and handling, including controlled substances.
Candidates must have successfully completed coursework and examinations to become a certified Resident Care Associate and must maintain continuing education credits as required by the state. Essential qualifications include knowledge of safe medication administration techniques, CPR/First Aid certification, understanding of resident confidentiality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, while demonstrating genuine compassion for seniors.

6pm - 6am with rotating weekends (full-time or part-time available)
The RMA must be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, push medication carts and be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule. The RMA must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds. This position is considered a medium risk for exposure to COVID, as it provides direct care to potential COVID-positive residents.
