The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating nutritional services and care for inpatients within the rehabilitation hospital. This includes establishing policies for patient nutritional care and supporting Food Services and Nursing Departments with relevant education.
Candidates must be a Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians and a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Essential abilities include strong knowledge of nutrition, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

Plans, directs, and coordinates nutritional services and care for inpatients; establishes policies and procedures for patient nutritional care; supports Food Services and Nursing Departments with education regarding patient nutritional care; assists in establishing of policies and procedures for food safety/sanitation, preparation, distribution.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
