The surgeon will provide emergency surgical care for traumatic injuries to bones, joints, and soft tissues, including advanced reconstructive procedures like pelvic and acetabular surgery. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teaching residents, and managing inpatient trauma cases.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and complete an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency, with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred. Required qualifications include board certification (or eligibility) in Orthopedic Surgery and an active Maryland medical license.
