The technologist performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while ensuring quality care is provided to patients across all age groups. This role requires self-motivation to continuously increase knowledge regarding the field, diseases, and evolving new procedures.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma/GED and an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduation from an AMA-approved school. Required qualifications include specific training in Computerized Tomography (GE VCT), two to five years of specific CT experience, ARRT registration with advanced CT certification, Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license, and current CPR certification.
Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages. Requires self-motivation to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.
