To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Pathologist Assistant or related field OR Graduate from an National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) approved Pathologists' Assistant program Required. NYS Pathologist Assistant License OR NYS Pathologist Assistant Permit Required. Strong communication (both oral and written), problem-solving, and organization, skills Required. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel Required. Ability to maintain professional conduct under stressful conditions Required..
Required Licenses: NYS-Pathologist Assistant Lic
1-2 years Anatomic pathology services Preferred. National Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or eligibility Preferred.
