The Clinical Specialist assists the physician in providing medical care within the Orthopedic and/or Pain clinic, which includes interviewing patients, measuring vitals, preparing for treatments, and assisting with procedures like injections and suture removal. This role also involves maintaining electronic medical records, coordinating scheduling, handling patient inquiries, and submitting prescriptions as ordered by the physician.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of experience, and current Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain it within six months. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and familiarity with general medical terminology and electronic medical records systems is necessary.

Assists the physician, along with other members of the team, in providing medical care to patients of the Orthopedic and/or Pain clinic. Assists with the maintenance of patients’ electronic medical records. Provides exceptional customer service to the patient, patient’s family and colleagues. CCMA preferred.
