The Medical Assistant will perform delegated clinical and administrative duties, providing direct support to primary care providers and offering direct care to patients in partnership with other team members. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, interviewing patients, taking vital signs, performing blood draws and immunizations, and accurately recording all information.
Required qualifications include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and holding an active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certification or Interim status, along with a Basic Life Saving Certificate (BLS). Prior experience in primary care or community health and bilingual skills are preferred.
The Medical Assistant performs delegated clinical and administrative duties providing direct support to primary care providers and some direct care to patients.
