The role involves performing occupational therapy evaluations, reassessments, and consultations, as well as developing the plan of care and discharge planning for patients. Services must be rendered within the practice guidelines set by the AOTA and other regulatory bodies.
Candidates must possess current Occupational Therapy licensure in Illinois and hold a current BLS Certification. Duties require communication with physicians, nurses, and case managers regarding patient status and plans.
Performs Occupational therapy evaluation, reassessment and consultation; provides plan of care, discharge planning, patient, and significant other education; renders occupational therapy services within the practice guidelines of the American Association of Occupational Therapy (AOTA) and other regulatory agencies.
