This role involves assisting physicians in providing medical care within Orthopedic and/or Pain clinics, which includes interviewing patients, measuring vitals, preparing for treatments, and assisting with procedures like injections and cast application. The specialist is also responsible for maintaining electronic medical records, coordinating appointments, and handling patient inquiries regarding medication and post-operative care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, with a preference for graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, and must obtain Medical Assistant certification within six months, along with current Basic Life Support certification. Required qualifications include familiarity with general medical terminology, the ability to accurately use electronic medical records, and the physical capacity to stand and walk for up to 80% of the workday.

Assists the physician, along with other members of the team, in providing medical care to patients of the Orthopedic and/or Pain clinic. Assists with the maintenance of patients’ electronic medical records. Provides exceptional customer service to the patient, patient’s family and colleagues.
• High school diploma or its equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited business school or college with focus in medical assisting preferred.
