The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic according to established standards, and will be responsible for performing physical exams, ordering diagnostics, and developing therapeutic plans. Essential functions also include administering medications, suturing minor lacerations, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians on acute and long-term patient needs.
Candidates must have successfully completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program, preferably with an MSN, and possess a minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of nurse practitioner experience. A current State of Ohio CNP or APRN license is required, along with knowledge of nursing theory, medical equipment use, and strong communication and patient care skills.
