The Audiologist is responsible for assessing and prescribing treatment for hearing disorders, providing a full range of diagnostic, preventative, consultative, and rehabilitative audiology services to patients and their families. Essential functions include cerumen management, conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, performing hearing aid evaluations and repairs, and instructing patients/families in rehabilitative procedures.
Candidates must possess knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic equipment necessary to establish treatment plans, along with skills in maintaining effective working relationships. Required education is either a Master's Degree (if graduated before Jan 1, 2006) or a Doctorate in Audiology (if graduated after Jan 1, 2006), along with ASHA CCC eligibility and an Ohio State License.

Your expertise will contribute to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments and communication difficulties.
1. Eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competency in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. 2. State of Ohio License
