The Respiratory Therapist performs all modalities of respiratory therapy, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and maintains detailed patient records for those with abnormal respiratory conditions. This involves administering various treatments, monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation in critical areas like the ICU and NICU, and assisting physicians with procedures such as intubation.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree, though a Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with an active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license. Required certifications include CRT or RRT, CPR, and ACLS, with NRP being preferred.

This position follows a three 12-hours shift schedule with hours of 6:30pm-7:00am. This position will participate in rotating weekends. Flexibility may be required based on patient and operational needs.
