The Physician Assistant will deliver comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosing illnesses and developing evidence-based treatment plans for patients ranging from infant to geriatric populations in the Observation Unit. Key duties involve performing physical examinations, providing continuity of care through documentation, and educating patients and families on diagnoses and health maintenance.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and possess current or eligible licensure as a Physician Assistant in Illinois, along with NCCPA certification. Required attributes include the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting and a strong commitment to serving diverse and underserved patient populations.
