The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for dispensing prescribed oral, topical, and rectal medications accurately according to physician orders and company policy. This role also requires monitoring residents for adverse reactions, documenting all administrations, and immediately reporting any errors to the Charge Nurse.
Candidates must possess a current Texas Medication Aide certification and demonstrate competence in medication administration procedures. Essential qualities include clear communication, professionalism, discipline, and meticulous attention to detail for accurate documentation.
