The Registered Medication Associate assists residents by administering medications according to physician orders, accurately recording administration, and observing/reporting any adverse reactions or complications. This role also involves monitoring the Medication Management Program, maintaining safe medication storage, and ensuring compliance with all state and company policies.
Candidates must have successfully completed coursework and examinations to become a certified Resident Care Associate and must maintain continuing education credits as required by the state. Essential requirements include knowledge of safe medication administration techniques, CPR/First Aid certification, the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, and demonstrating genuine compassion for seniors.
Full-time; 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am

The RMA must be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, push medication carts and be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule. The RMA must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds. This position is considered a medium risk for exposure to COVID, as it provides direct care to potential COVID-positive residents.
