Salary
$14 - $20 / HOUR
include checking patients in, taking histories, recording medications, and performing TPR independently, alongside possessing thorough knowledge of preventatives and vaccinations. Duties also cover patient holding, radiology positioning, administering injections, monitoring hospitalized patients, placing catheters, drawing blood, and handling surgical equipment.
Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience in veterinary practice, the ability to communicate clearly, and a commitment to being teachable and positive under stress. Essential skills include patient restraint, knowledge of veterinary terminology, empathy towards clients, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
Experience and basic skills are required for this full-time position, including surgical assistance, radiology, dental cleaning, lab test, and more. Full-time or part-time positions available. Must have a flexible schedule and be available for rotating Saturday shifts. Pay is negotiable based on experience. Spanish Bilingual is a plus not a must.
Must be willing to work at our local sister clinic on occasion for training or to provide additional support.
