About the role

The Respiratory Therapist will deliver personalized respiratory assessments, treatments, and care plans while partnering with Nursing, Habilitation, and Therapy teams to support whole-person care. Key duties include managing respiratory equipment, participating in Individual Plan meetings, and training staff on respiratory techniques and safety.

Respiratory Therapist (Full-Time or Part-Time – 3rd Shift)

  • What You’ll Do
  • Deliver personalized respiratory assessments, treatments, and care plans
  • Partner with Nursing, Habilitation, and Therapy teams to support whole‑person care
  • Manage and monitor respiratory equipment (oxygen therapy, nebulizers, CPAP/BiPAP, airway clearance devices)
  • Participate in Individual Plan (IP) meetings and help shape resident‑specific goals
  • Train staff on respiratory techniques, equipment use, and safety
  • Support residents returning from hospital stays and track progress to ensure strong outcomes

  • Active Ohio RRT or CRT license
  • CPR & First Aid certification; valid driver’s license
  • Experience with individuals with severe or profound developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Clear communication, strong organization, and a collaborative spirit

Requirements

Candidates must possess an active Ohio RRT or CRT license along with CPR & First Aid certification and a valid driver's license. Experience working with individuals who have severe or profound developmental disabilities is preferred, alongside strong communication and organizational skills.
