The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and rescheduling surgeries, while communicating necessary information to patients, staff, and physicians. This role also involves coordinating equipment, surgical assists, anesthesia, and maintaining physician calendars.
include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in medical scheduling, along with knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Preferred qualification is two years of experience specifically in surgery scheduling.
