The Surgical Neurophysiologist performs preoperative assessments and conducts various electrophysiological tests intraoperatively under remote physician supervision, communicating findings to the operating room team. Responsibilities also include documenting findings, completing post-operative reports, and assisting with billing forms.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science/Arts in a biology-related field and hold or be eligible for CNIM certification, demonstrating excellent communication abilities. Required knowledge includes anatomy, physiology, pathology, aseptic techniques, and electrophysiological procedures and equipment.

Under supervision (via remote monitoring) by an Interpreting Physician, the Surgical Neurophysiologist performs a preoperative assessment of the patient, conducts SSEPS, TcMEPS, EMG, EEG, BAEP, direct nerve testing and other modalities intraoperatively, communicates findings to the operating room team, documents findings, completes post-operative reports and billing forms. You’ll lead by example and foster an environment of excellence through personal development and professional growth.
Technical and employee performance reviews, from time-to-time, no less than annually.
Commensurate with experience; relocation reimbursement (jf applicable).
