The Mobile Therapist provides child-centered, evidence-based, family-focused individual and family psychotherapy addressing defined problem areas while coordinating the overall clinical direction of treatment. Essential functions also include maintaining detailed progress notes, collaborating with the treatment team, and being available for crisis intervention.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline with a completed practicum, or hold BCBA/ABA certification, or a Licensed BSC, along with at least one year of paid experience in the mental health field. Familiarity with multiple child-serving systems and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are also required.

Northern Children's Services is hiring Mobile Therapists (MT) to join our team. This is a part-time position that provides intensive psychotherapy services to a child and family in settings other than a provider agency or office. While settings often focus on the child's home and school, other potential settings include: a community center, a neighbors or extended family members home, and other community settings. Services provided by a Mobile Therapist vary according to the individualized needs of a child and family and always includes the child as a participant in their own treatment, as well as parent and other caretakers as members of the treatment team.
Qualifications: (Must have one of A-D to qualify, in addition to E &F)
A.
Minimum Requirement - Master's Degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline AND completed clinical or MH practicum
B. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or behavioral analysis certification
C. Graduate degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
D. Licensed BSC
E.
At least one year full-time paid experience in the mental health field. Excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents and families.
F. Familiar with multiple child-serving systems (e.g. education, juvenile justice, child welfare, mental health, drug and alcohol, health care and vocational rehab).
