The position involves performing various adult echocardiograms, including transthoracic, stress, and dobutamine stress studies, while also assisting with transesophageal echocardiography and left atrial appendage closures. This role requires providing preliminary diagnostic evaluations, communicating results to cardiologists, and consulting on technical factors for non-standard examinations.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree or a two-year technical certificate along with a minimum of two years of experience performing diagnostic echocardiograms. Registration is required within six months of hire, although being registered or registry-eligible is preferred upon application.
