include providing direct care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, assisting with household tasks like light housekeeping and meal preparation, and ensuring client safety through proper mobility assistance and medication reminders. Caregivers must also accurately document all activities and communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
Candidates must be a current CNA in Washington or able to earn certification within 200 days, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it. Essential requirements include passing a criminal background check, having reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, and demonstrating kindness, compassion, empathy, and reliability.
