The Occupational Medicine Clinical Assistant performs clinical and administrative duties, including collecting medical history, conducting initial injury assessments, and assisting providers with examinations. They also manage patient records, coordinate follow-up care, and perform on-site specimen collections at employer locations.
The role requires the ability to perform clinical tasks such as measuring vitals, fitting medical equipment, and conducting drug screens. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment and traveling to employer sites for on-site services.

The Occupational Medicine Clinical Assistant (OMCA) works collaboratively within a team environment to perform a wide range of clinical, administrative, and on-site specimen collection duties. Under supervision, the OMCA collects medical history information, conducts initial assessments of work-related injuries, prepares patients for evaluation, fits and dispenses durable medical equipment, administers pre-employment drug screens, and initiates DOT and pre-placement examinations using established criteria. The OMCA supports Occupational Medicine providers by maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating follow-up care, and assisting with required documentation. This role also communicates effectively with patients and employers to provide timely information and ensure continuity of care, and participates in on-site specimen collection services at employer locations or within clinic settings.
This is a full-time position based at our Eagan MOH Campus. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 6am - 4pm. (subject to change). Morning hours will be spent doing on-site collection with afternoons in the clinic. This role may also require flexibility to pick up shifts at any/all of our MOH Campuses as needed.
