The role involves providing direct outpatient primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and documentation according to established protocols. Responsibilities also include managing chronic diseases, collaborating with care teams, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must possess a BLS Certificate from an approved organization and hold full licensure to practice medicine by the NC Board of Nursing or NC Board of Medical Examiners. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant is also required.
