The Direct Care Worker will assist clients with personal care, daily activities, hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents. They will also support clients with special needs, assist with medication self-administration, and contribute to meal service and cleaning duties.
Applicants must possess a Certificate III in Aged Care or a similar qualification, along with proven experience providing direct care in aged, frail, or disabled settings. Essential attributes include strong interpersonal skills, compassion, empathy, physical ability for the role's demands, and basic knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Elder Abuse Reporting.
