Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED preferred, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, and required Medical Assistant certification from recognized bodies. A minimum of five years of medical assisting experience, two years in a specialty, PC proficiency, and current CPR certification are mandatory.
