The Restorative Nursing Assistant will deliver restorative nursing care focused on helping residents regain, enhance, or maintain their physical functions to the highest possible level. This involves implementing individualized programs for mobility and strength under supervision, and ensuring the proper use and upkeep of assistive devices.
Candidates must possess an RNA and CNA license, along with completion of certified Restorative Aide training and an unencumbered Nursing Assistant certification in the state. Required proficiency includes the use of various adaptive equipment and prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment, including direct care and behavioral/memory care settings.
