The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and deliver high-quality PT services, developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on patient progress. Duties also include performing therapeutic interventions, documenting outcomes, and educating patients and families on recovery strategies.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program and hold or be eligible for a South Dakota PT license. Evaluate, plan, and provide high-quality PT services to patients with a variety of conditions. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical progress. Perform therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and use of modalities. Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner. Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and strategies to support recovery and long-term wellness. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated, effective care. Monitor patient responses to therapy and make clinical decisions to optimize outcomes. Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program (or anticipated graduation). Current South Dakota PT license (or eligibility). Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
