The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective nursing care delivery, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and maintaining resident/family satisfaction according to established standards and regulations. This role involves directing nursing care during the assigned shift, including staff assignments, mentoring, educating personnel, and collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals.
Candidates must possess a valid state nursing license and demonstrate excellent verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills, coupled with high integrity and a well-grounded work ethic. Agility, flexibility with changing priorities, a professional demeanor, and a team-oriented approach are essential, with at least one year of long-term care experience being preferred.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Operates within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for resident care and direction of nursing care during assigned shift; includes staff assignments, mentoring and educating nursing personnel, working with physicians and other medical professionals.
