Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.
The scope of the position includes explaining procedure to the patients, accurately operating all imaging equipment, demonstrating clinical and age specific competencies in performing all diagnostic procedures and selecting accurate technical factors for optimal image quality.
Technologist is responsible for practicing radiation safety in the operations of radiation-emitting equipment.
Technologist demonstrates the ability to review images for interpretation.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, converse, and listen; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and to reach with hands and arms.
