The Certified Medication Aide/Tech is responsible for administering daily prescribed medications to residents following established standards and regulations, which includes verifying identity and documenting administration or non-administration.
Candidates must be certified in the state of practice and successfully complete the State Approved Medication Technician/Aide Training and Competency evaluation program, ensuring their name is on the State Registry in good standing.
