Caregivers will assist clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, dressing, bathing, and taking prescribed medication, while also providing social activities for cognitive and emotional engagement. They must also perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, collect information about client conditions, and report any unusual incidents to medical staff and family members.
Candidates must be respectful, compassionate, and possess outstanding communication and time management skills, with the physical endurance to complete required tasks in various living conditions. A valid driver's license and vehicle are mandatory, along with the willingness to undergo a background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting.
The Caregiver provides direct care services to clients in their homes or community settings. This role supports clients with daily living activities while ensuring services are delivered safely, respectfully, and in accordance with care plans and organizational standards.
Workweek, compensation, and benefits
This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Omatochi offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; holidays; and additional benefits consistent with company policy. Overtime, meal periods, and rest breaks are provided in accordance with California law.
