The primary duties involve responsibility for all phases of pathology specimen preparation, including accessioning, grossing, processing, embedding, and slide preparation. This also includes performing quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures while managing laboratory costs and maintaining accurate logs.
Candidates must have completed an associate or bachelor's degree and preferably possess a minimum of two years of histology laboratory experience, with IHC experience being a plus. Required qualifications include ASCP Certification (HT or HTL) or equivalency and documented training consistent with CLIA 88 requirements.

This role is located at Peterkort Centre. This is a per diem position that may become full-time after a four-month re-evaluation period. Evening and night shifts, as well as weekend availability, are highly preferred. The role offers incredible flexibility regarding shift days and work hours.
