The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant implements and executes established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, while communicating with patients, families, and physicians. This role also requires providing timely written documentation per facility and insurance requirements and supporting department operations.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum and hold an active, unencumbered COTA license in Oregon, maintaining good standing with all regulatory agencies. Fluency in English and an active CPR/BLS certification are also mandatory requirements.
