If yes, here’s how you will contribute to the team: Your Role as a Treatment Nurse

• As a Treatment Nurse, you will ensure that residents receive timely, accurate, and compassionate skin and wound care. Under the direction of the DON/ADON and in collaboration with the nursing team, you will:
• Provide and document all wound treatments per physician orders
• Assess skin condition and report any changes promptly
• Monitor healing progress and update care plans as necessary
• Participate in wound rounds
• Assist in preventing skin breakdown by following established protocols
• Educate staff on skin integrity, turning schedules, and proper care procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Promote a safe and positive care environment

Must Have

• LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Behavioral care / memory care experience
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
