The Clinical Therapist provides therapy to individuals, families, and groups in an outpatient setting to treat mental health disorders and promote optimal functioning using various therapeutic techniques. Key duties include performing psychosocial assessments, developing person-centered treatment plans, conducting ongoing evaluations, and providing crisis intervention when necessary.
Candidates must possess a minimum of an LLMSW or LLPC license, with preference given to fully licensed therapists who can practice without clinical supervision. A valid Michigan Driver's License is also required for this full-time position.
The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing therapy in an outpatient setting working with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat mental health disorders and to promote optimal functioning. The Therapist uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to deal with a wide range of mental health concerns including, but not limited to: depression, addiction, suicidal impulses, stress management, problems with self-esteem, issues associated with aging, family, parenting, marital or other relationship problems.
