Job description

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p\n \n\nMain Function:\n\n * Retrieves and distributes incoming department correspondence and distributes\n to remote associates.\n * Processes paper claims for remote associates\n\n * Manual credit card payment processing\n\n * Actively supports the mission, goals and objectives of the department and the\n Health System.\n\n * Completes other tasks assigned by Manager.\n\nExperience:\n\n * Preferred familiarity with all payers, payer claim forms, and EOBs.\n * Required excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\n * Required excellent public/patient relations skills.\n * Required strong organizational skills.\n * Required a willingness to learn and pursue excellence.\n * Preferred skills in using Outlook, Word, Excel; navigating websites; strong\n typing abilities\n * Preferred Filing and office clerical experience.\n\n \n\nEducation: \n\n * High School Diploma or Equivalent.\n\nPay Range: $17.61 - $21.00\n\nStarting Pay: Based on experience \n\nThompson Health is an EOE encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans\nto apply.
