The coordinator facilitates the development and implementation of an Individual Care Plan and risk management/safety plan for MassHealth youth with serious emotional disturbance. This involves acting as a liaison, advocating for families, and identifying/monitoring necessary services including medical, educational, and therapeutic supports.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a mental health field such as counseling, social work, or psychology, and must maintain certification in the Massachusetts CANS. Experience navigating child/family-serving systems and advocating within behavioral health systems is also required.

About the Program
The Boston area Community Service Agency (CSAs) serves youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) who are enrolled in MassHealth Standard or CommonHealth and meet certain medical criteria. This program is part of the Massachusetts Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI). Our two CSA programs together serve Dorchester, South Boston, Hyde Park, Roslindale, Mattapan, and West Roxbury.
Our primary goal is to help families strengthen their skills and knowledge in order to move towards their envisioned future.
The CSA Boston area located in Dorchester, seeks a Full-Time Mental Health Intensive Care Coordinator to facilitate the development and implementation of an Individual Care Plan and risk management/safety plan for MassHealth youth with serious emotional disturbance.
Under the direction of Program Director and Senior Intensive Care Coordinator; facilitates the development and implementation of an Individual Care Plan and risk management/safety plan for MassHealth youth with serious emotional disturbance.

The pay range listed represents the company’s good faith estimate of the salary or wage range for this position at the time of posting, as required under applicable law. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, and internal equity relative to other employees in similar roles. Candidates with less directly related experience may be placed toward the lower end of the range, while those with extensive or specialized experience may be placed toward the higher end. Market conditions and budget considerations may also influence final pay decisions.
